R got a big assist yesterday in her project of getting me to re-engage with visual culture. Was grateful to be able to do dishes through the slow middle, but impeccable in terms of free on-demand accompaniment to bloody mary consumption. 5000 stars.

—We went with Comic Sans, which is hip, but also friendly, you know?
—Yeah, that’s great. And she’s Asian, which is sort of the same idea. Kind of downtown, and then you have those green tea colors…hmm.

—No, it’s just…something’s missing for me, you know? Like, it doesn’t really pop. It’s got to really pop there.
